Writing, writing, and more writing!  Yes, we are busy preparing for our Writing SOL in March.  We have read, discussed, identified, and practiced all manner of grammar skills, types of writing, parts of writing, purposes of writing, and audiences. Now we are pulling everything together to create our five paragraph writings using every type of prompt imaginable.  Students are finding that, yes, they can write a five paragraph paper and survive.  Although there is still some debate as to how painful the process can be, many have also begun to realize that they are “good writers”. Soon we will be displaying examples of our work in the hallway.  Come have a look.
